Or 1 month, 19 days including the end date

  • 1176 hours
  • 7 weeks

It's hard to make out (unless you're his mom), but this is little Ezekiel looking right at the camera. His forehead all the way to the right, then his little eyes and nose, his big chubby cheeks and chin.

Although I'd never ask for my pregnancy to be high-risk, the one positive about it is that I get to see him on ultrasound every few weeks. It's incredible.

The nervousness has begun to kick in. Not concerning labor, I'm just ready to get that going and done with! The change--especially this being our first child--we have absolutely no idea of what to expect, or what exactly will change. We can only take it as it comes.

  1. "We can only take it as it comes." That is the best attitude for what is to come. Dad and I had a few 'standards' set up for raising our family before we started, and I am sure we have repeated them to you often enough. But other than those 3 'formed in concrete' rules, everything else was formed as the needs arose. Everything changes from child to child and situation to situation, but if you and Gray have a solid understanding on your 'absolutes' (like Dad and I had with our 3 No Compromise Rules) then it makes all the other decisions that will need to be made much easier. And we are certainly proud of how our three children have all become amazing adults. We praise God for the guidance He gave us when we accepted the responsiblity of raising each of you for Him!
